So the new Batman, Terry McGinnis has to find out how is this possible and to do that he has to find out what happened only problem is that Bruce doesn't want to talk about it.
In latter-21st-century Gotham City, The Jokerz, a street gang enamored of the city's infamous Clown Prince Of Crime, is breaking into a high-tech engineering plant to steal a powerful generator, a crime stopped by the new Batman (Terry McGuiness) and which puzzles Terry and his mentor, the elderly original Batman Bruce Wayne. The reason for this and other "geek junk" thefts is a mystery even to The Jokerz gang, who are now working for someone claiming to be the original Joker himself. When he makes an appearence at a charity function attended by Bruce Wayne (cover to steal another generator), the Joker taunts Wayne, and later sends his minions to attack Terry McGuiness while he attacks the Batcave. But the original Joker died forty years earlier, and why does this new Joker want high-tech items? When a shaken Barbara Gordon explains the fate of the original Joker, Terry begins to piece the twin mysteries together, culimating in a confrontation with the Joker that literally threatens the very existence of Gotham City.
It's a wonderful movie.I love it!The plot is amazing,the voices are great,the image is very cool I just can't find anything that I don't like about it.Well maybe it should have lasted more like 100 minutes but it doesn't bother me much.The same ol' criminal VS another hero guided by the other old and tierd one has always called for my attention but this one does more than that,much more.It may not be the original Batman but hey!the original Batman does play an essential role in the story and is like the father of the new Batman so I guess that makes things even.If you think that only the original is great and that the rest of the versions of Batman is horrible than it's obviously that you haven't seen this movie.My advice is watch it!There's nothing to dislike about it.
OK well it took me a long while to get this movie but I finally got and got to see and it turned out to be a great sequel to the batman cartoon series and for all the same reasons. It has lots of action in it the storyline to is really good the cartoon effects are good. the voice over actors are really good suchKevin ConroyBruce Wayne/Batman, Will FriedleTerence "Terry" McGinnis/Batman, Angie Harmon and Tara StrongBarbara Gordon/Batgirl, Dean Stockwell and Mathew ValenciaTim Drake/Robin. The villains are good suchMark HamillThe Joker, Arleen SorkinHarley Quin. So I am sure you will not be disappointed with Batman Beyond The Return Of The Joker because it is a really good movie. In the beginning of 2001 the original and uncensored version was released in the USA, on top of that in Anamorphic Widescreen while earlier releases had been only presented in Fullscreen.
